Th-e windy, unseasonable weather still continues, and people are wondering whether we shall be blessed with any summer at all this . year. Mr J. Masters, Mayor of Stratford, was married at ins private residence, Broadway North, this afternoon, to Mrs Longdnu. The llev. C. C. Harrison officiated.

With reference to the annual school concert, to lie held in the Town Hall on Thursday evening, the sale of tickets ,which the children have in hand, is progressing well. Evidently the reproduction of “Trial by Jury’ is highly popular, and there should be a crowded attendance. A very successful rehearsal of “Trial by Jury was held last night. The pleasure of the evening will lie enhanced by tiie fact that election results from all over the country will be announced from the stage as they are received.
