HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT (Per Press Association.) Wellington, December 11. Following is the High Commissioner’s report, dated London, December 9 unless otherwise specified, are average market prices on spot):— Butter.—The market remains firm. Buyers are cautious. The average price for the week for choicest New Zealand butter is 1325, Australian 1275, Danish 138 s, Siberian 1255, Argentina 128 s. Cheese. —The market is quiet, with no alteration in prices. New Zealand 68s to 695. The wool sales have closed with a strong market for all qualities. Superior merinos Is to Is lid per 11), medium IQd to Hid, inferior 8d to Did, fine crossbreds (all grades) Hid to Is lid, medium Bid to lid, coarse 7id to IQjcl.
