A very Rood attendance was in evidence last night at His Majesty '• theatre, when the great “Humnty Dnmpty Circus” film again evoked great laughter. The programme m a very fine one and will he added to tn-.mght with several new pictures, among which is the thrilling drama entitled “The Runaway Engine ” It is a thrilling drama throughout and originally cost a large amount of money to pioduce. One part of the picture shows a real Baldwin engine running oft the track over a huge precipice. Jhe com-edy-drama “A Vacation in Havana is about the best of its kind, and the scenic portion includes “dhe I'our Lakes of Canton.” . ... To-night is the last of this hignclass bid. Next Thursday the management are introducing for the first time in Taranaki the great Irish drama, “Rory O’More,” and also the great spectacular plioto play “Robinson Csusoe.” CRYSTAL PALACE PICTURES. To-night, the Crystal Palace Picture Company will, in conjunction with the Stratford Lyric Orchestra, o-ive an entertainment m the 101111 Hall. A first-class programme is advertised, in which “The White Chief is the star picture. Being a Western drama, it should olease the audience; and “The Early Settlors,” another Western drama, is something out of the ordinary. A long drama entitled “The Nino of Diamonds,” is one of the host-acted dramas ever put before the public, while the enmies are the best nrocurahle. Specially selected music will he played by the Stratford Lyric Orchestra during the evening, so patrons can rely on spending an enjoyable evening.
