PENALTIES: The winner of any flat race after the declaration of weights to carry 71bs penalty; and for every additional race a further penalty of 71hs, or, if he thinks fit, the handicapper may re-handicap the winner of any race after the declaration of weights. DEFINITION OF A HACK. No horse shall start in any hack race which has at any time prior to the time of entry, won a race of tho value of £IOO to the winner or races to the aggregate value of £250 to the winner. (Rule XI-2). TROPHIES. Trophies to the value of £5 each will be presented to the riders of the winners of the Farmer’s Plate and Ladies’ Purse respectively. DATES OF NOMINATIONS, AC CEPTANCES. ETC.
