TROUBLE ABOUT MASTERTON’S POSITION. MR. FREWIN INDIGNANT. (Per Press Association.) Feilding December 4. Mr. Frewin, one of the adjudicators in the dispute over the Masterton pictorial advertisement about no-license, to-day received the following telegram front Greymouth:— “December 4.—Trewin, barrister, Feilding.—Trade publish you were paid for report. Is everything in report incontrovertible ?—Scrivener.” Mr. Trewin sent the following reply : ‘ ‘Statement made by the Trade that paid for report is villainous lie. Report is absolutely incontrovertible. Obtain names those responsible for report that I may take proceedings.”
