AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. This popular house of amusement will he closed down till Thursday next in order to get ready for the new Westinghouse machinery and also to,adjust new parts that have arrived to the projector, so that the picture machine will be able to run through the kinemacolour films which will shortly arrive. Thursday’s opening will bring forth a very large programme of dramas, scenic, comic and industrial pictures, including the famous “Humpty Dumpty Circus,” for the first time outside the leading centres. The results of the election will thrown on the screen throughout the evening.
FIREWORKS—TO-NIGHT. A large crowd of adults and children is expected to collect in Victoria Park to-night to witness the fireworks d'snlav. and electric pictures, furnished by the Crystal Palace Touring Company. A novel programme is adverrised, including all the latest effects in fireworks. Selections will be played by the Stratford Lyric Orchestra during the evening, and popular prices will bo charged.
