THE ENGLISH CRICKETERS

MATCH AGAINST QUEENSLAND CONTINUED. HOME TEAM BATS AGAIN. Brisbane, December 3. Ten thousand people were present at the match between England and Queensland. England gave a splendid defensive display, but the scoring was painfully slow. Mead and Rhodes were brilliant. The bowling was good, that of McLaren, Cook and Hayes particularly.
