(To the Editor “Stratford Post.”) Sir,—l noticed a letter signed Thomas Boyle in your issue, of Saturday in which he says ton out of the twenty - seven present were from outside the district, which is contrary to fact. Three of the ten he speaks about live on the East Road, within two miles of the Stratford Post Office, and who refrained from voting, although they had a perfect right to, as one of these persons was bred and horn on Pembroke Road. Mr Boyle says it was a lively meeting. True, it was, till a lady of the audience addressed the chair and said she had come to hear Mr Hinq and not Mr Boyle, and another well-known Government supporter who resides on Pembroke Road. The meeting was very quiet from this out.—l am, etc., TRUTH*
