lii a cyclone ut Elemington, near Sydney, houses were demolished, roofs were wrenched off, fences were flattened, and trees were uprooted. It culminated in a cloud-hurst. The rain poured down in I Sheets, and tore, up the ground and'flooded the district in a few minutes. There were many narrow escapes. The damage is at least £IOOO.
