HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE
A most enthusiastic audience witnessed last night’s programme at His Majesty’s Theatre and applause was frequent. “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” was to the fore, and the manner in which this picture was greeted tends to show how it was enjoyed. The same pictures will be shown to-night for the last time.
The Theatre will bo closed down on Monday next for three nights, as the management are fitting up the base for their new machinery, but ■will re-open on Thursday the 7th with a programme of star pictures, amongst which is included the much-spoken-of “Humpty Dumpty Circus,” said to be the most mirth-provoking film ever produced. On election night the returns froifi the polling booths will be thrown on the screen. FIREWORKS. Owing to the wet weather on Thursday, the Crystal Palace Fireworks Co.’s advertised display will be given on Monday, December 4th. The Company, who are exports in the art of pyrotechnics, are doing all in their power to make the display a brilliant apd effective one. Selections will be played by the Stratford Brass Band.f
