n THE INSURANCE BILL. London, November 27. Members of the House of Commons received 70,000 protests against the Insurance Bill from servants. Mr Lloyd-Georgo gave notice of 220 now amendments to the Bill, including reorganisation of benefits for servants. He also conferred with friendly societies and agreed that full sickness benefit for 26 weeks he substituted for the alternatives previously proposed.
