Melbourne, November 22
Acting under instructions of the Sydney police detectives arrested Campbell Moir, a dentist’s assistant, aged nineteen, on a charge of murdering TTevascus, a mineralogist, at Glebe.
The detectives learned that a young man answering to the published description applied to a dentist for employment, and went to Essendon, where they discovered Moir living in a furnished room with his wife.
His finger prints wore taken for comparison with those found in Trevascus’ room. * Moir, who was ■rcaertly nH'd, left Sydney with i is wife on tee Sunday after Trevaoevs had been murdered, and had been 'i.i.’g in Z.l cl- - under the assumed name of Carmichael. The Sydney police obtained sn.~r.i_ mens of Ins ha-idwii.iag, V.L », it is stated, compare with that in the letter addressed to Trevascus from Penrith, stating he would call.
