Several were injured, necessitating a charge of mounted police, the strikers being dispersed. DISSATISFIED RAILWAY MEN. London, November 21. Ninety per cent, at Tall Vale and DS per cent, at Burton-on-Trent balloted against the Railway Commission’s report and in favour of a strike. Rhymney and Cardiff are similarly militant. The Liverpool and Newcastle branches of the general railway workers recommended the rejection of the report and strike. THE SMALL ARMS STRIKE SETTLED. London, November 21. The Birmingham Small Arms factory strike has been settled oh a basis of rearrangement of the hours and various wage concessions.
