THE COMING DURBAR.

OFFICIAL PROGRAMME. The following is a summary of the official programme of the Durbar;— 'Their Majesties arrive at Delhi on the morning of the 7th December, Lord and Lady Hardinge, Governors, and heads of the province will meet them. Ruling princes will be presented to their Majesties inside the Fort walls. The procession then moves in three portions (1) Governors, Limit-Governors, etc., (2) the Royal procession, and (3) ruling chiefs, to the Ridge where provincial representatives present an address through the Vice-President of the Legislative Council.

On the afternoon of the 7th, morning of Bth and 9th, the Emperor lecuves visits from chiefs. On die afternoon of the Bth ho lays the memorial stone of the King Edward memorial. On the iOth their Majesties attend Divine service.

On the 11th His Majesty presents colours to three Britisn aid two Indian regiments. In iho afternoon will be held the final of Ine polo tournament.

On the 12th the Durbar takes j lac° in two arenas, about 100.000 viewing the, same. After receiving the homage of the governors, chiefs, etc., their Majesties appear in the Royal pavilion in the centre of the arena where the proclamation will be ree l. Ihe final of the hockey will lie held in dm afternoon, the State banquet with reception in the Royal tents in the evening.

On the 13th there will he a icception of volunteer and native officers of the Indian Army, with a garden party in the .fort,; the people’s . fair below the 'walls; in the afternoon,, .and the fireworks in the, evening. , The King lias given, a large sum . towards the feeding of the poor. P.n ; review of troops'in the morning, football final in die afternoon, and ime-st-titure in the evening. 15th: Military tournament and point-to-point races. 16th; State procession through the city. The King afterwards proceeds to Nepal, the Queen to Agra, and the Hardinges to Delira.
