A return shows that-the number of foreign sailing vessels trading to Australia is three times as great as the number of Britishers.. British-owned vessels are being rapidly bought up by other nationalities. ■ Adelaide; November 22. The position of tfib Margit is unchanged; She lies on, an even keel with sails 1 : set. Her cargo is practically undaHiaged. Th,c Marine Board enquiry found her loss was caused by Careless navigation and a general neglect of the recognised rules of navigation. On the night of the disaster tho master was not on deck, and during the evening watch the vessel was left to the charge of an uncertificated officer.
