OLD BONES.
(To tho Editor “Stratford Post.”) Sir,—Judging by tho remarks and criticisms now being made by Air Ale Cluggage at the most of his political meetings throughout the Stratford elec torate, ho appears to he unable to manufacture a suitable political platform, and consequently exposes his own and Ids party’s weakness. His principal plank in his platform consists chiefly of,the resurrection of old hones and imaginary wrongs that took place during Ids father’s and grandfather’s lifetime. Evidently Air AicCluggage must be a staunch believer in the old -adage of blaming the sou for the mistakes committed by his father. If Air AlcCluggage imagines that he will gain political support h.v these ancient tactics, all that 1 can say is, that he has misjudged the commonsense and intelligence of the people, for the reason that the young electors and rising generation have no time to waste on events which happened during their father’s and grandfather’s lifetime, and that they intend living fur the present and the future; and they will always support young and up-to-date candidates with political views similar to their own, and they will shunt all obsolete candidates who are too hide-hound to live and work for the present and future generations.—l am, etc., VOUNG ELECTOR.
