VICTORIAN ELECTIONS.
o (Received 17, 10.20 a.m.) Melbourne, November 17. Voting was heavy, women exercising die franchise for the first time. Preferential voting was also introduced. Nine Ministerialists were returned unopposed. In four constituencies the contest was between Liberals omy. Counting is incomplete but the present figures show that Labour lias lost me seat, probably two scats, without gaining any. The only Ministerialist cud a tigered is Sir Henry Woedon, who .nay lie displaced by an Independent.
