FIRES.

(Per Press Association.) Auckland, November 15. A two-storey building known as the St. Holier Hotel, at St. Helier’s Hay, was destroyed by fire with its contents early this morning. 'The building was owned by Hancock and Co., and occupied by Hrinsmcad and Dickenson, as a store and private hotel. Insurances :-—£ 1400 on the buildings, and £BOO on the furniture, in the Commercial Union office. The occupants escaped in night attire.
