THE KING AND QUEEN LEAVE FOR INDIA. ENTHUSIASTIC DEMONSTRATION (Received 13, 8.0 a.m.) London, November 12. The departure of the King and Queen for India was marked by an enthusiastic demonstration. The route was crowded and they were loudly cheered. Ministers, ambassadors. Sir George Reid, Sir \Villiam Hall-Joncs and three hundred notables took their farewell at Victoria station. The steamer Medina, with their Majesties aboard, left Portsmouth in the afternoon. The fleet at Spithead saluted. The first division of the home fleet accompanied the vessel down the Channel, providing a fine spectacle.
