SYDNEY CONSULS’ REPORTS. TURKS CLAIM TO BE VICTORIOUS. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Press Association.) (Received 13, 9.10 a.m.) Sydney, 'November 13. The Turkish Consul’s official cables state that the Turkish troops continue their victorious resistance at Tripoli, The Italian army is surrounded. The news of the atrocities by Italians is confirmed. The 'ltalian Consul’s cables, to November 10th, report that an atack on the Italians’ left wing was driven back with loss. A naval reconnaissance towards .the coast of Tunis discovered arid scattered several caravans escorted by the enemy. ITALIAN REPRESSION JUSTIFIED. BY GERMAN ATTACHE. (Received 13, 9.15 a.m.) Rome, November 12. The Giornal d’ltalia’s Tripoli correspondent states that Major Wilkens, , German military attache, declares that Italy’s repressive measures were i’ustified and indispensable. Germany, le states, took similar action against the Herrcros in South-west Africa.
