There was ideal weather for the third days’ racing of the V .11. C. spring meeting! The crowd was larger today than at any of the past Oaks days of previous years. The cours" was in good order, hut the fields wore small., November Hurdle Race, of 300 sovs; 2 miles—Forest Prince 10.1, 1; Battery, 11.1, 2 ; Zaal, 9.5, 3. Also started: Jules, Yarrabar, Elsgo and Trajectory. Won easily by three lengths, a length between second and third. Time, smin 18)see.

Mimosa Stakes, of 500 sovs; 0 furlongs—Rathlea, 9.10. 1 ; Charlatan. 8.3, 2; Effervescence (late The Fiz/.er), 8.3, 3. Also started : Rathkealo, Loch Amos, Dnnard, Lacus, Keck, King Moston. Flask.
