Auckland, November 8. A boardinghouse owned by one Richter was burned at Kaitaia early this morning. Little was saved. The building and furniture were insured. The occupants were Mrs Kirtlan, her family, and three hoarders. Dunedin, November 8.

The police received advice that a hotel at Kokonga was destroyed by are at 11 p.m. .on Tuesday. Nothing was saved. The licensee was seriously burned about the head and face, and md to bo removed to the Dunedin hospital. The sufferer is Miss Dorothy Charlton, aged 32 years.
