DAMAGE TO A TOWN

Sydney, November 8. A tornado struck the town of Cyron near Walgett. A SOOOgal. tank was blown a considerable distance, and crashed into the kitchen of a house, smashing the walls. The stationmaster’s dwelling was destroyed, and Ins wife seriously injured by the falling debris. A massive goods-shed was. smashed to atoms, and sheets of roofing iron were blown nearly a mile.
