Mavion King’s Stratford Horse Fair Report. On Saturday last, November 4th, i held my monthly horse fair and submitted a big entry of 1-Jo useful classes of horses. The market was somew.h it easier than last month, consequently a fair number of horses were passed in. ! (pinto:— Unbroken draughts .CIS to £23 10s, H to i- draughts .CIO Ss to £l7 10s, hacks £-1 Ills to £l3 10s; broken draughts £22 10s to £3O, ;( to v draughts £l2 to £2l 10s, hacks and light harness houses £o to £l3 Ss. Weeds and packers £1 Ss to £2 10s. Hcivtcn King’s Weekly Report. At tho Haymarket on Saturday a moderate yarding of pigs came forward, the whole of which were sold at prices in advance of last week with the demand exceeding the supply. 1 quote: Slips and vveaners 12s fid to 18a fid, small stores £1 4s fid. to £1 ■Ss fid, p.b. hoar £3 2s fid; calves 2s to 13s fid, yearlings £1 10s. A large quantity of harness and sundries made fair prices. At the .Mart.—Poultry: liens 2s Id to 2s fid, ducks 2s 3d, Boosters Is i)d to 2s. I have at present an unlimited demand for all classes of birds, and would advise poultry breeders who have any surplus stock to market their birds. Potatoes (table) ;)s to 10s sack. About throe tons of seed potatoes were offered but met with poor competition, prices .making from 4s to fis fid per sack; broccoli os (Ur/.. A large quantity of furniture and sundries sold at usual rates. I will be offering on behalf of a southern client 4 tens of seed potatoes on Saturday next.
