Tenders are invited for the erection of a cottage at Bird Road for Messrs. Kelly Bros. Mr. Newton King’s usual weekly sales take place at the Haymarket and Mart on Saturday next.
The N.Z. L. and M. Agency Co.’s next horse fair at TattersalTs, Hawera, takes place on Saturday, November 11th.
'The sale of salvage timber to lie held by Mr Newton King at Juliet Street to-morrow has been postponed owing to it being a holiday, but will take place on Saturday next. The Stratford County Council invite applications for flic position of working foreman at the Douglas and Makuri end of East Riding. The Stratford County Council will receive tenders for metalling portion of Taihore Road, and also for draincleaning and deepening at Douglas. Particulars appear in another column. Mr. W. E.' Porter has a large stock of Taupiri coal to hand.
