Sydney, November 7. Mr. Flowers lias been appointed Chief Secretary. He acted as Chief Secretary during Mr. MacDonncO’s illness. He states he will relinquish the position when he has completed the work already in hand, if convenient to the Party.

Mr Trefle, who has hitherto been honorary Minister for Agriculture, has received the portfolio of Agriculture.
