NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
On Monday, November 20th, the N. Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. Ltd, sell 75 pedigree and grade Jersey Holstein, Ayrshire and Shorthorn hulls at the Stratford yards. It is a good habit and well worthy of following, to keep a diary. In Air. H. J. Hopkins’ replace announcement ho draws attention to his stock of diaries and fanners’ note books.
The combined auctioneers and merchants publish a notice re Hosing on 9th November. Particulars appear in another column.
Messrs Matthews and Bennett’s weekly cattle sale takes place at the Inglewood yards to-morrow.
A youth, to milk a few cows and make himself useful on a larm, is wanted.
.Mr Newton King will offer, by public auction, at his mart, Broadway, on Saturday, November JSth, all the interest of Thomas Hastio and of Jessie Kva Hastie of sections in the Taurakawa and N gat imam survey districts.
