SECOND DAY. (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, November 6. The Canterbury Jockey Club’s metropolitan meeting was continued today in fine but cool weather. The attendance was large, .Lord and Lady Islington being present. The racing was very interesting and speculation brisk, the totalisator investments amounting to £32,959, as against £20,439 last year.
