GENERAL ELECTIONS.

The Hon. Tims. Mackenzie is announced to speak at Ngairo on Wednesday evening next. A' correspondent writes:—Mr Mackenzie had at Opunake on Friday right the most successful meeting imaginable. Ho was cheered for some time before he commenced his speech and again heartily cheered at its conclusion. Ho is generally recovering from the indisposition ho suffered from during the last week of the session and is getting into fighting form. He is evidently going to receive very hearty support at the Opunake end of the electorate.”
