A man and his wife were’executed for the possession of arms, and calmly met thoir death, holding each other’s hands.
Other instances arc—cited, and lie adds that the soldiers are drunk with the lust for vengeance, and oilicors are obliged to exercise all their authority to restrict military excesses. Tripoli (via Tunis), Nov. 4. Lieutenant Harold C. Montague, serving with the Turks, saw the mutilated • bodies of a hundred women rind children who had been massacred oy the Italians-in revenge for heavy losses in battle. Rome, November 5. It is somi-officially announced that General Frugqiii, with another army corps, is proceeding to Tripoli. The Government is determined to carry the war to a finish with the utmost energy.
