In the House of Commons, Mr Asquith resolutely declined to accede to Mr O’Brien’s request to forecast the Government’s Home Rule proposals. He invited Mr O’Brien to disclose his own plan, adding that any constructive suggestions would be treated with all consideration and sympathy. AMERICAN NAVY. MORE SUP E R-1 IRE A DXOUGIITS. New York, November 3. President Taft has announced that hi' will urge Congress to build two super-Dreadnoughts yearly until the Panama Canal is opened. He then hoped to reduce the building to one yearly.
