RE WILLI AN HENRY POTTS

A meeting of creditors in the bankmpt estate of William Henry Potts, lardy a motor expert and garage proprietor in Fit ham, was held yesterday at tiie office of the Deputy Official Assignee, Mr A. Coleman. There w ere present Messrs C. A. Wilkinson, Brown, Goldstono and C. Potts.

There was nothing very definite to put before the meeting, as bandrupt mid left the district before lie was adjudged bankrupt on a . creditor’s petition, and had not been heard of since.

A rough statement of assets showed that the plant and stock were valued at £l6l 14s, and that the book debts totalled £6B.

The proved debts to take only total £6B 12s 2d, but there are thirtyeight creditors in all, and the total debts are expected to run into several hundreds.

The only secured creditor is Mr C. A. Wilkinson, who holds a bill of sale over a motor car, on which £365 is still due.

The meeting decided to hand the car over to the mortgagee, and to call tenders for the stock and plant in the estate.
