ILLEGAL BETTING. (Per Press Association.) Wellington, November 3. W. J. Drew and J. McCrac were fined £2O and costs on a charge of illegal hotting at Trcntham during the last meeting. GREAT BARRIER WRECKAGE. (Per Press Association.) Auckland, November 3. The wreckage reputed to have been found at the Great Barrier proves to be an old meat cask thrown overboard from the island-trading schooner Isabel, and some drift timber. It has no connection with the missing barque Mary Isabel.
