MANAWATU SHOW.
(Per Press Association.) Palmerston North, November 1
The Manawaltu A. and P. Show opened to-day in line father, tliongh somewhat windy. The entries are not quite up to the best years, but a splendid display of stock will lie on the grounds to-morrow. In the art and technical school competitions, Wellington won most of the prizes, with Palmerston next. The Covonior is expected to arrive this evening. Ho will open the show to-mor-row.
