MANAWATU SHOW.
(Per Prosa Association.) Palmerston North, November 1. Tho Mauawatu A. and P. Show opened to-day in lino though' somewhat windy. The entries are not quite up to the- best years, but a splendid display of stock will be on toe grounds to-morrow. In the art and technical school competitions, Wellington won most of tho prizes, with Palmerston next. The Covernor is expected to arrive tiiis evening. Ho will open the show to-mor-row. .
