AUCKLAND MEETING. (Per Press Association j Auckland, November 1. The Auckland Racing Club's spring meeting opened at EJlorslie to-day. The weather is fine, and the course fast. Results:— Maiden Hurdles.—Presently 1, Regain 2, Bon Cyr S. Scratched: Golborne and Ponfold. Presently got in front at the last fence, and won by threo lengths. Time, 2min olsec. Great Northern Guineas.—General Latour 1, Miss Winsome 2, Sir Moutoa 3. Scratched, Kaween. Won by: a neck. Malwa fell. Time, 1.40 2-5. ! Welcome Stakes.—Dido 1, Tact 2, Monorail 3. Scratched: Lancelot and Lady Gladstone. Won by a length and a half. Time, 1.3.
