Messrs John Glmstoffel, Edgar Hihe, -.George Albert Marchant and Edward Marfell were to-day nominated as the Stratford County Council representatives on the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board and were elected unopposed. Another member is necessary and will be nominated by the Governor. The following nominations have been received for seats on the Stratford County Council:—North Riding, William Hathaway, Francis Joseph Mackay, William Rogers; South Riding, John Christoffel and James Thomson ; East Riding, William Jones,' Edward Marfell, George Sangster, Edward Walter; West Riding, Thomas Reese Anderson, George Albert. Marchant, John Smith; Mangaehu Riding, Robert Watson Barron, Joseph Ernest Young. Elections are necessary in all cases except that of the South Riding, in which the number nominated is the same as the number to be elected.
