It is officially announced that from the 23rd to 26 ch the Italian losses at Tripoli were 13 officers- and 361 men killed; 16 officers and 142 men wounded. The preponderance killed is duo to the fact that a baud of rebel Arabs suddenly attacked Bersaglieri on the dank.
Renter estimates that _4OOO Arabs were killed in fighting, or were subsequently shot, between the 23rd and 27th.
