SATURDAY’S RESULTS

The New Zealand competitions were continued at the Town Hall yesterday and last night, and were largely attended. Results:—
Piano concerto, for two players.— Miss Ward and Mrs Wilkie (Nelson), 1; Misses Mona Moore and Winnie Orr (Masterton), 2. Recitation, boys under 11.—Leonard Power (Wellington), 1. Recitation, boys under IG.—Leonard Power (Wellington), 1. Dramatic recital, ladies.—Thelma Brown (Launceston), 1; Lilian Pritchard (Melbourne), 2; Masie Carte (Eastbourne), 3. Contralto sole.—Miss M. _ Knight (Auckland), 1 : Miss Livingstone (Christchurch), 2; Mrs Symes (Wanganui) and Miss Ivimey (Dunedin) equal, 3. Vocal duet.—Misses F. and D. Sutherland (Wanganui), 1; Misses Lyon and Knight (Auckland), 3. Tenor solo.—Mr Aspinall (Auckland) 1.
