CONTRACTING OUT INSURANCE

The Shipping Federation has promoted a scheme for contracting out the Insurance Bill. Many conferences have been held between shipowners and seamen, also the Treasury. The plan covers everyone within the Shipping Acts—seamen, dockers, and Lascars, Hr. Havelock Wilson is taking a leading hand in the movement. A BY-ELECTION. London, October 28.
