GLEN MORN TRAGEDY.

EVIDENCE AT THE INQUEST. Sydney, October 27. Mrs. Cover, wno' was shot on the 23rd at Glen Morn, near Tam worth, by Lawrence Lawless, a farm labourer, has three bullet wounds, and one of her eyes is destroyed. At the inquest on Una, the arresting constable deposed that Lawless gave no reason for the deed. He said: “Poor little Una. I must have been mad. I wish I were dead. I don’t want the doctor to save me to be hanged.” Deceased’s father stated that Lawless was formerly a regular visitor to his home, but last year he was not friendly.
