Ycursg, Hobbs arid Co.’s Report. At Eltham on Wednesday, 18th inst, wo had a fair yarding of stock and ruling prices were well maintained. Fat cows made £5, forward do. £4, store do. £2 : 19s to £3 8s Gd. Several lines of young cattle failed to reach vendors’ reserves. At Stratford on Tuesday, 21th inst, mg had a full yarding. Bidding was brisk and wo placed most lines at satisfactory prices. Fresh and forward cows made £3 11s to £4, store do. £2 13s to £3 ss, 18-month to 2-yr heifers £3 12s 6d to £4 Is Gd, yearling do. £2 8s to £3 7s, yearling steers £2 IDs to £2 11s, small do. £2 to £2 ss, 24 to 3-yr steers £4 14s, 18-month to 2-yr do. 1 £3 10a. , In the dairy pens springers were in great demand. .“.Springing Jersey heifers made £0 2s 6d to £lO 10s, others £5 12s Gd to £6 10s. Springing cows made £4 to £6 12s.
