London, October 25. Tho Government will not proceed with the • Trade Union Bill this session. It is understood tho Premiei gives a day to discuss tho Labour unrest: and tho recent railway Doubles. Replying to a question why tho Government’s good offices are not offered in tho Italo-Turkish hostilities, the Premier said it was not considered that a public announcement was desirable at present. The resolution applying the closure by compartments to the Insurance Bill, allots- fifteen days for the committee stage and four for the report stage.Mr. Lloyd-George, referring to clause 18, said it was never his intention to ' give a monopoly to the great friendly societies to the exclusion of the smaller societies of trade unions. (Received 26, 8.30 a.m.) London, October 25. In reply to Mr. Tim Healy as to when tho Irish Finance Committee’s report would be issued, Mr. Asquith stated that it was purely a confidential enquiry, and the report would not bo submitted for discussion. It was already in tho hands of tho Government.
