WELLINGTON DOCK CASE.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, October 20. The Chief .Justice was occupied today in hearing litigation arising out of the termination fo tJie Wellington ton dock contract by the Harbour Hoard. Pitcaithley a'nd Co. sued John McLean and Sons for £20,()()(). Defendants were contractors for the dock and plaintiffs contracted to supply the gravel and sand required. Plaintiffs, contended that they were entitled to the whole of the profit which would have accrued to them

if the contract had boon completed. Argument is proceeding on a question of law.
