SHOOT'S MOTHER AM, . DAUGHTER. THEN ATTEMPTS SUICIDE. Sydney, October 24. A tragedy has occurred at Glen Morn, near Tam worth. Lawrence Lawless, a farm labourer, shot Mrs Cover and her daughter. The daughter died almost immediately, and the mother is in a critical condition. The Covers’ house was burned down, and the body of the daughter incinerated. Lawless afterwards shot himself in the chest, but it is not thought the wound is dangerous. Ho has been arrested.
