AMUSEMENTS.
SOCIAL AND DANCE. In the Parish Hall to-morrow evening a social and dance will he held under the auspices of the Orchestral Society to entertain those ladies and gentlemen who have given their services to the society during the past season. In the early part of the evening orchestral and vocal items will he rendered, the rest of the evening being devoted to dancing. SKATING CARNIVAL. A grand fancy dress and poster skating carnival will be hold in the Town Hall to-morrow evening, when ,a large number of prizes, which are it present on view at Mrs. McCallum’s, Broadway, will be competed For. Music will bo supplied by the Municipal Band. Great interest is being taken in the carnival. In addition to the brilliant display of fancy dress, the poster costumes will be very numerous, several of our business firms being well represented. The various events will be extremely interesting, ahd the comic portion of the entertainment, being in excellent hands, heaps of amusement is assured for onlook-t. ers. . . Ladies and gentlemen in fancy dress or poster costumes will oblige by leaving a card with their name and character of the costume they represent at the ticket office.
