Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. The Chinese revolution is hut an imitation of the revolutions in Turkey and Portugal, both of which have been successful. China will drive the Manchu Dynasty out of the country, another ruler will take his place, or a great many Chinamen will lose their heads. Imitation within bounds is good, but imitation in trade affairs is despicable.
