The House met at 10.30 a.m. Amendments to the Auckland Harbour Board Empowering Bill wore introduced by Governor’s message. t A comm uncation was read by Sir Joseph Ward from Sir George Clifford stating that the Racing Commission had no intention of transgressing the laws of the House in the memorandum submitted on Friday. Any such transgression was duo purely to inadvertency. The Wellington City Empowering Amendment Bill was' read a third time. The Hutt County and Mohaka County Bills were rejected.
