The annual social and dance under the auspices of tlie Midhirst Foresters’ lodge will be held this evening. Tho Rev. W. A. Butler left for Auckland by tin’s morning’s mail train to attend the Synod meeting. During Iris absence the services will be conducted by Mr. E. F. Hemingway, of Patea.
