On Saturday last the members of the Tohokura Defence ID fie Club lired in the final lor Mr. ,1. Coopei’s modal, but owing to the bad state of the weather, only six competitors turned out, and it speaks well for their enthusiasm that even so many turned out. The trophy was won by Mr. Itogers, who only used three (joints of his handicap. Scores as under: —
The low scores are easily accounted for by the gusty wind and continual changes of light and heavy showers of rain.
